When we get hurt, our body sends in repair teams to fix the damage. This process is called inflammation, and it's what helps us recover from injuries. The human eye is an incredible organ that can see millions of different colors and detect even the smallest movements. It's also responsible for regulating our sleep-wake cycle, making sure we get enough rest and stay alert when we need to be. Our skin is the largest organ in our body, covering over 22 square feet of surface area. It protects us from the outside world, regulates our body temperature, and even helps us feel sensations like touch and pressure. The human ear is a complex system that allows us to hear a wide range of sounds. It's made up of three tiny bones called ossicles that transmit vibrations from the air to our brain, where they're interpreted as sound.
