The Wicked Witch Cast a Spell on Dorothy's Ruby Red Slippers Dorothy Gale, an innocent and naive farm girl from Kansas, lived a mundane life until the day a powerful tornado swept her away to the magical land of Oz. The house she called home was lifted high into the air like a toy, leaving her family in a state of panic as they watched helplessly. Upon landing with a thud in Munchkinland, Dorothy's house crushed the Wicked Witch of the East, freeing the Munchkins from her tyrannical rule. The Good Witch of the North, Glinda, appeared and explained to Dorothy that she had been brought to Oz for a reason: to follow the yellow brick road to the Emerald City, where the Wizard of Oz could help her find her way home. Dorothy's journey was not without its challenges. She encountered various obstacles along the way, including the Wicked Witch of the West, who sought revenge for the death of her sister and vowed to get her hands on Dorothy's magical Ruby Red Slippers.
