Here is a replacement for the OEM Lock/Unlock button on the driver's side of a WK (2005-2010) Jeep Grand Cherokee. It may also work for other models, including those with an unlabeled passenger side switch. The design was reverse-engineered from a broken part that exploded violently while I was driving 65 miles per hour down the highway. This new part reuses the original spring and metal spring cap - the components responsible for the explosive launch of the failed OEM plastic piece. I'm hoping this will be useful to someone out there. The openSCAD code is included for anyone interested in learning more. I'm still learning how to use openSCAD myself, so don't expect perfect formatting - it's only been 12 hours since I started using the software.
