Important: -This print requires two steps, manually adding other objects to the print in between. -Know your warranty information and pay close attention on your first time printing this. How to Print Properly -1. If you have Simplify 3D and a BCN3D Sigma, you can use the included factory files and get started right away. -0. If you only have Simplify 3D, you might be able to use the factory files to get a good start, tweaking things to your printer's specific settings. 1. Center all components on the print bed so that all circles are perfectly concentric. 2. Ensure that the components are oriented exactly as they appear in the orange photo included. If not, your Wizard Wheel might show you the wrong orbit. 3. Using your favorite settings for your favorite filament, create a new set of preferences (this will be for the bottom portion) that does the following: I. Begins at 0mm and stops at a height of 2.15mm. II. Leaves the top face open so honeycomb is visible (closed bottom). III. Will not fuse individual components together. 4. Save the last gcode and create a new set of preferences (this will be the top portion) that does the following: I. Starts at a height of 2.15mm and finishes normally. II. Leaves the bottom face open (closed top this time). III. Will not fuse individual components together. 5. Print the bottom portion, ensuring honeycomb is exposed and there are two small notches between the argument of perigee ring and the carriage ring. 6. Snip two small sections of paper clip (about 3/8 to 1/2 inch each) and press them into the notches, making sure the surface of the notch is flush. If it's not, either revise your print settings or use a thinner paper clip. 7. Begin the top portion of the print but don't walk away yet. Make sure the first layer goes down at the right height without a solid layer and without the print head crashing into anything. Once you're feeling confident, then you can walk away. 8. Carefully pry the finished Wizard Wheel off the print bed, dislodge any stuck components from each other, and add some good lubricant.
