I needed a digital readout for precise adjustments on my Jessem router lift. Instead of buying the pre-built DRO made by Jessem with Wixey hardware, which costs $130 and includes extra components to mount on their Excel router table, I opted for the universal RDO. The WR525 model from Wixey can be mounted to my Mast-r-lift without any modifications to either device. To minimize the slight movement caused by having a magnet only on one side of the sensor, I might create a second magnet mount for the other side. However, this setup is currently at least as rigid as Jessem's original design.
