The spark for this project ignited when witnessing individuals wrestling with opening bottles and cans. I am a high school sophomore enrolled in an Engineering Program that has given me hands-on experience with 3D printing and Inventor software. This innovative bottle and can opener attaches to the user's arm, featuring a v-shaped design that accommodates various bottles and lids. The indentation on one side allows for effortless lifting and opening of pop-top cans. The parts were printed at a precise .3 mm layer height. To ensure durability, they should be printed with an infill percentage above 50%. This part was divided into individual files, designed to fit most printers. These parts require printing with support. Users have the flexibility to choose between two comfortable design options: the rounded hand cover or the squared hand cover. To assemble the device, slide the bottle opener onto the preferred hand cover. When joining the two parts, apply a small drop of glue to the joint. For added security, Velcro can be threaded through the openings in the hand cover and attached to the user's arm.
