All final renders were rendered in Blender 2.8 using Cycles renderer with physically based Principled BSDF shader. Render setup utilizes a 16384x8192 HDRI image lighting map (included) that provides optimal results. Textures are optimized for PBR rendering solutions, utilizing either Metalness or Specular workflows to achieve the best possible outcome. A level 4 subdivision modifier is applied to geometry to ensure smooth and accurate renders. Beauty renders utilize albedo, roughness, and vector displacement maps to create photorealistic images. Geometry provided includes two low poly meshes that can be subdivided up to an original sculpt level of six to reveal intricate details of the displacement map. Each mesh is designed to provide optimal detail and performance levels required by users. High detail close-up renders are possible, but lower subdivision levels or non-subdivided meshes can also be used in game environments. Geometry is centered on the origin, with real-world scale units measured in centimeters. Polygonal quads only are used, ensuring minimal polygon count while maintaining high-quality renders. No poles have more than five edges, and displacement distance is 1.0 cm for seamless integration with other software packages. UVs are linearly mapped to ensure easy texture editing and minimal distortion. Textures are photorealistic (32-bit per channel EXR) images created from real object capture data, each with its own unique UV map and textures. To preserve visual quality, the Withered_tree object albedo texture is 16384x16384 pixels, while all other textures are 8192x8192 pixels. Each model's UVs were carefully created and inspected to achieve optimal balance between texture space allocation, intuitive layout, easy further 2D texture editing possibilities, and minimal texture distortion. Textures are designed to fit linear UVs (no internal smoothing or locked UV borders) to avoid UV smoothing errors. Geometry ensures low linear UV texture distortion when subdivided, guaranteeing accurate and detailed renders. The provided Blender scene utilizes the following textures: Albedo Roughness Vector Displacement Spherical 16384x8192 HDRI map texture Additional textures are included in a separate archive: Normal (for subdivision level 0 geometry) Specular Glossiness Displacement No third-party plug-ins were used in creating this scene, which was built entirely within Blender 2.8.
