Witcher Medallion (wearable loop)

Witcher Medallion (wearable loop)

thingiverse

I took an existing Witcher medallion model found on Thingiverse and made adjustments so you can wear it comfortably. The loop was tweaked to ensure the necklace sits flat against your chest when a chain is attached. This revised loop addresses a common issue with the original design, where the medallion would sit at an angle due to its unique shape. If you've tried wearing a printed version of this medallion before, you know exactly what I'm talking about. The updated loop prints well at standard sizes but may encounter issues when scaled up too much, particularly with regards to the base's levelness on the Y-axis. It appears that even at 0 degrees, the base is slightly off-kilter. If anyone figures out how to resolve this issue, please share your findings – I'd love to print a massive version of this medallion. I made these changes using Cinema 4D and exported the STL file from Wox Desktop app for further processing.
