Replacement parts for the top and bottom of RX 2/3 battery compartment are available. A picture shows their location. These components were printed at 100% infill for maximum durability. Repeatedly loading and unloading batteries with force will eventually break the plastic holding down brass contacts on the original mod, breaking the circuit and preventing it from powering on. The replacement parts were modeled and printed to replace the top and bottom plates of the battery compartment when the mod no longer functions. Originally, only the top was broken, but the bottom gave way quickly under my impatient extraction methods. So I also modeled that part. The guides for the bottom release button can be slightly sticky, so sanding them a bit may help overcome friction caused by layer lines.
