Wiring Clamp System V2
thingiverse
This system is currently under development to design a set of clamps that can be used to solder or assemble wiring/wiring harnesses. Initially, four distinct parts are being designed: the sliders allow the clamp to move as the bolt is screwed in. The base secures the bolt into the slide and comes in two variations - one uses M4 hardware to secure it to the slide while tightening the clamp with an M6 bolt, and another version utilizes 6-32 hardware for attachment to the slide with a 1/4 bolt. Mounting holes are spaced 1.5 inches apart for attaching to a work surface or rail. There are two types of sliders: the base slider is thin and serves as the bottom of the clamp, coming in three wire sizes; the top slide has an indent for the bolt and tightens down on the wires, also available in three sizes. Required hardware includes: Metric: M4x8 screws (2) M4 nuts (2) M6x160 hex bolts M6 nuts SAE: 6-32x3/8" screws (2) 6-32 nuts (2) 1/4-20x3" hex bolts 1/4-20 nuts On September 25, 2016, a Flat Slider was added for general clamping applications that do not require a base slider. If you have custom wire or cable sizes, please let me know and I will attempt to design sliders for your specific needs. I am still working on this project and have not thoroughly tested it yet; therefore, any suggestions are welcome. On November 18, 2017, the system was moved over to Fusion360, where all files were remodeled and adjusted for more accurate printing. A large wire clamp has also been added.
With this file you will be able to print Wiring Clamp System V2 with your 3D printer. Click on the button and save the file on your computer to work, edit or customize your design. You can also find more 3D designs for printers on Wiring Clamp System V2.
