<p>A modular charging smartphone stand for the IKEA LIVBOJ wireless charger pad. The phone can be held in both portrait and landscape orientation with the charging pad still placed in the middle of the phone. The cable runs in a slit in the base of the holder with three possible exit points (back or sides).</p> <p>Great for watching videos while in a coronavirus quarantine.</p> <p><strong>Edit: My MINI finally arrived, so the design is now tested and works fine. Only the supports for the upper part of the charging pad recess tend to be ustable, so beware of that, I will upload updated Gcode with supports stuck closer to the model.</strong></p> <p><strong>You can use one of the three STLs for different phone sizes:</strong></p> <ul> <li>S up to 145x74x11.5 mm</li> <li>M up to 160x80x11 mm</li> <li>L up to 170x85x11.5 mm</li> </ul> <p><strong>Or download the parametric Fusion360 model and customize the following parameters:</strong></p> <ul> <li>w = Phone width*</li> <li>h = Phone height*</li> <li>d = Phone depth*</li> <li>cable = Cable slit opening (default in the provided STLs is 3.2 mm)</li> <li>alpha = Slope of the front face of the stand (default is 12 degrees)</li> </ul> <p>*<em>Note: tolerances for the width (4 mm) and depth (2 mm) are built in the design, enter exact phone dimensions (with a case, if you use one) in the parameters.</em></p> <p>I was inspired by these designs, so have a look at those, if you're looking for something similar but different :)<br/> <a href="https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3933787">https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3933787</a><br/> <a href="https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3912629">https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3912629</a></p> <h3>Print instructions</h3><p><strong>Printing instructions:</strong></p> <ul> <li><p>Prints vertically with its base on the bed, use supports for the openings of the cable slits and for the overhang on the top of the charging pad slot.</p> </li> <li><p>Two perimeters with 10% infill should be enough thanks to the monolithic shape.</p> </li> </ul>
