Wireless wall switch mount
thingiverse
I have some radio wall switches. And I found it's really inconvenient to change batteries if you mount them directly on the wall using screws or double-sided tape. It's best to access and replace batteries from the back side where they're mounted to the wall. So, I designed mounting pads for three types of switches I have. 1. All holders share the same external dimensions and print correctly, but internal sizes can be tricky to determine and may require adjustments depending on the slicer or printer combination used. 2. After some trial and error, I discovered that the switches actually look even better inside their holders, except for one type (key + round) which has a larger design that cleverly hides its thickness and appears lighter than expected. 3. When it comes to infill settings, I use 1 mm top/bottom walls in Cura with 0% infill, resulting in solid bases and clean walls without any visible infill on semi-transparent PETG material. 4. The small square holes at the base of each holder are merely for understanding the model's design and serve no functional purpose.
