Wireless transfer file to 3D Printer
thingiverse
This is a web-based app that just needs to be copied onto a Toshiba FlashAir wireless SD card to enable remote file upload and deletion. I no longer have to physically remove the SD card from my printer and use a computer browser to manually drag and drop printed files. I've included some dummy STL files, making it now available for public use. Instructions: 1. Before proceeding, make sure you've backed up all your existing files on the SD card, as I am not responsible for any file loss during the process. 2. Follow the Toshiba FlashAir instructions to configure your SD card in Station Mode. 3. Extract the downloaded package directly onto the SD card's root directory - it includes everything required for seamless operation of the web app. I have omitted the CONFIG file within the package, as its contents are unique to individual SD card settings and should be manually created based on your setup specifications. 4. Depending on your current explorer settings, you may need to temporarily adjust them to display hidden folders, enabling easy access to crucial files. 5. If your SD card remains completely devoid of any existing folder structures, create at least one visible directory. The app itself relies on this presence for functionality. 6. By establishing the necessary structure, simply browse to the newly configured address within your chosen browser using the path 'http://{SD_APPNAME_or_IPAddress}/{folder}.', with a relevant folder name (for example: http://3DPrinter/Queue). 7. With the interface now accessible through your browser, you're empowered to effortlessly drag and drop new files while removing existing ones with the utmost ease and efficiency.
