Short version : I have had thefts in my mailbox, I want to be notified remotely when a package is delivered to me. Long version: Confinement has two effects: more trade on the internet and deliveries, and more frequent thefts. People pretend to be delivery people, open all the mailboxes at once, help themselves to parcels and resell them. After two robberies in a week, I asked around. The key PPT 10 (the pass everywhere) and is free sale for 10€ (incredible!) So just help yourself and resell after the packages. The penalties are very heavy if the thief is caught but it's quite rare. My solution: Monitor my mailbox remotely, and empty it as soon as the postman or delivery man passes by. There's a button, and a receiver that rings. It's all battery-operated and self-contained. I designed a box that activates the button when the mailbox is open (mine, or the whole panel). With just a rubber band and a bit of double sided, a few pieces to be printed in 2h30 and that's it! As my mailbox is made of metal, the range of the button is reduced, but it works at home.
