Wireless LED Controller Enclosure

thingiverse

Enclosure for a NodeMCU v3 board with space to connect an addressable LED strip, powered by a separate 5V USB supply up to about 1A. The NodeMCU v3 board is securely fastened into a larger compartment using four self-tapping screws. The external 5V power supply connector is exposed through a slot for easy connection. Standard 3-pin wires from an addressable LED strip are connected to the VUSB, GND and D4 pins on the NodeMCU board, positioned in a smaller compartment. When plugging in an LED strip, the connector pair sits safely inside the enclosure, protected from the elements, with wires exiting through a slot on the side. The enclosure lid fits snugly into place, secured by two clip features. Note: This design accommodates the Lolin NodeMCU V3 board, measuring 58mm x 31.5mm. Ensure to purchase this version without pin headers or remove them if necessary. Print with flat sides facing down against the bed for optimal results.
