The sticky pads that come with the wireless doorbell don’t allow the battery to be changed without destroying the pad and making a mess of where they were removed. This mount can be stuck on with the pads and holds the doorbell in place letting it be easily removed for battery changes or swapped for another if broken.It’s held up well with our small dog and the doorbell has not been knocked out of holder.
