Update-January 6, 2017: I'm forced to stop recommending this charger/receiver combo. Mine has either given out (after eleven months) or the iOS 10 update is blocking charging somehow now. Now I'm recharging my iPad the old-fashioned way with a lightning cable. Charging stand for 7-8 inch tablets, using PowerBot charger. This picture shows an iPad Mini 2. Use the layflat function in Slic3r to lay the stand on its back when printing - no support material is needed. These photos show a stand printed in silver PLA with twenty percent infill. At thirty millimeters per second, the print takes four hours and forty-five minutes. At one hundred percent scale, the opening for the charger disk on the stand is seventy millimeters in diameter by eleven millimeters thick. The PowerBot disk attaches to the stand using small squares of double-sided foam tape. Single-sided adhesive foam is used on the bottom supports where the iPad rests.
