Wireless Charging Cradle - Anker A2513, iPhone8
thingiverse
I adore having a wireless charger for my phone, but there's one major issue - if the phone isn't precisely centered over the charging coil, the charging process stops abruptly. It's frustrating to wake up in the morning and discover that your phone has fallen off the charging puck during the night due to a slight bump. This STL file is specifically designed for the Anker A2513 charger, which I've thoroughly tested on an iPhone 8 paired with either an OtterBox Commuter or OtterBox Defender phone case. One notable observation about the micro USB connection on the charging puck - its height is significantly lower than most standard micro USB cable casings. As a result, I had to meticulously sand off approximately 2mm of the rubber casing surrounding the micro USB male end to ensure a snug fit and facilitate the Qi charge handshake process.
