Wireless charger stand
thingiverse
I've got a Samsung J7 that didn't come with a built-in wireless charging receiver, but I fixed it by adding a Qi wireless charging pad and using a Choetech T511-S charger. It's been great not having to plug in that tiny micro USB connector all the time. I also converted some of my old readers to wireless and made a stand for my Fire HD8 to set beside my bed. At night, I read with my phone on the stand, and when I get up, I take the phone and put the reader on the stand. It works perfectly for my Samsung J7 and my wife's iPhone X too - just center it on the Choetech target. I made this stand in two pieces and glued the base to the holder. My Fire charges through its case, but if your case is too thick, you might not get a connection. A problem arises when you no longer have access to the micro USB connector unless you take the case off and unplug it - that was a showstopper for me, but I use Send-anywhere.com to move files from my phone to one of my many computers, so it's not an issue. There are lots of ways to send your files wirelessly, so pick your method of choice. Photos will explain the process.
