Wireless Access Point Mount for Lulzbot Mini
thingiverse
This is a pair with my Raspberry Pi mount. I used this to mount the PC board from a cheap d-link WAP so that the printer creates its own network. This setup works perfectly with a Raspberry Pi 3 and OctoPrint. My Pi mount has a built-in regulator that supplies 5v for the WAP, keeping everything powered from the printer itself. It consists of three pieces, just like my pi mount, allowing you to match your colors and make it visually appealing. To assemble this project, you'll need one of each piece. The design uses the existing holes in the Lulzbot Mini. I used a tap to thread the holes for M5 bolts, so be cautious not to strip them, as there's very little clearance between the z carriage and the side of the printer. You'll also need 4 M3 bolts to secure the lid. I'm still searching for the model number of the WAP this design is intended for; I'll update this information once I find it.
