Wire Wrap / Cable Shortener
thingiverse
I created this thing to keep my extremely long Bose headphones cable from getting tangled as I walked around the house. It also helps me wrap and hide wires under my floating bedside table, keeping them from hanging everywhere. The design scales well. To print it, simply use your standard settings with a raft if needed, but supports are unnecessary. Print Settings: Printer Brand: MakerBot Printer: MakerBot Replicator (5th Generation) Rafts: Doesn't Matter Supports: No Resolution: Any Infill: Any Notes: This design is meant to be printed standing upright. The overhangs all form arches, making supports a non-issue. Every time I've made one, it prints cleanly.
