Wire twister
thingiverse
Attachment for a drill to twist together 1/4 inch hex shaft wires. Print Settings Rafts: Doesn't matter Supports: No Notes: I suggest using nylon which is strong and flexible, rather than PLA as it may break and snap off the posts. Post-Printing Put a new #2 phillips bit or similar into the central hole of this attachment. Using a drill that supports it with detent ensures that the bit doesn't pop out. Add glue if the fit is too loose and it won't stay in place. Heating it for a few seconds will loosen it up. Insert clips onto all six posts - arrange two, three or more to suit your needs. You can secure them by squeezing with pliers or gluing them on tightly. Clip your wires into place. Now pull the trigger slowly to twist those wires. Take hold of the other end securely, using a vice for extra grip. Quickly running the twisted part under a heat gun "sets" the wires. But remember - don't let it melt.
