Wire support for Ender5 style gantry
prusaprinters

I have what used to be an Ender5, and as I've made various modifications to it, I decided I didn't like have all of the wires bundled up in a sleeve. They are easier to access when they are more loosely bundled up.

Problem was that there was a risk of something sagging into the stepper motor and causing some havoc.

This part is designed to mount onto some aluminium extrusion using T-nuits – M3 or M4 should fit. It reaches out over the top of the stepper motor so that cables can be strapped to it, and still easily accessed if need be.

The one in the photo (white) was printed as it sits on the extrusion, with full supports. Because of the supports it looks like crap. I've printed another one for a different project, and I printed it on the side, still with full supports. It looks much better. If I remember, I'll post a pic when the new project is done.

Printed in PLA, 0.28mm layer height. Full supports.
