I needed a system to manage my cable collection efficiently. It was overwhelming with various gauges and colors all over the place. I required something that would help me identify what I had and what I needed to purchase. To accomplish this, I combined ring multi sections - 2, 3, or 4 - with one or more flanges to create multiple compartments within a single spool. Securely holding them in place was achieved by using crazy glue. Subsequently, I drilled two holes through the center of the spool to facilitate wire ends locking it for winding purposes. The pipes utilized were 1/2 inch PVC, and the threaded rod used for the wire winder was 5/16-18.
