This bracket is engineered to match Intermetro Wire shelving with a shelf height of 29.5mm precisely. The bracket allows for up to 131mm of space and can securely fit two spools, even those with diameters as small as 26mm. Measuring approximately 178mm in length, this design demands printing diagonally on limited print areas. You may utilize this as a spool holder while printing, but the primary intention is storage. The design was inspired by http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:33710 and http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:429519. I integrated these ideas into a single, flexible clamp that doesn't break upon attachment or removal. An alternative flexy version is included for less likelihood of breaking but without the firm fit. Instructions: Using a printrbot simple metal and repetier, I successfully printed this object. Object Placement: Set your printer's Z-axis to -45. Next, center the bracket for proper placement. Slicer Settings: Configure your slicer settings as follows: - Fill density: 25% - Fill pattern: rectilinear - Top/Bottom fill pattern: rectilinear Then, proceed with slicing and printing. Approximate print time was around 90 minutes and a total of 11,500mm of filament was required.
