Wire Shelf Clips for tools, pens, etc
thingiverse
I'm tinkering with some wire shelving I grabbed from a Big Box hardware store, featuring a smaller 3mm diameter wire with a 16mm pitch and a larger 6mm diameter wire with a 32mm pitch. My workspace is cluttered with an ocean of pens, tools, and miscellaneous items, so I thought I'd whip up these clips to corral everything in sight. The screwdrivers are Ultra-Grip Phillips drivers from McMaster-Carr in sizes 0, 1, and 2, sourced from https://www.mcmaster.com/catalog/125/2883. I'm using Sharpies with Twin Tip Fine/UltraFine or pencil-sized fine tips for precision work. My trusty Electronic Caliper is a Harbor Freight Digital Caliper (63710) from https://www.harborfreight.com/. The eXacto knife I'm employing is actually an Excel Blades Paper Cutter K18 from excelblades.com/collections/knives-and-cutters/products/paper-cutterk18. I've included SketchUp files for the base "FrontClip04" so you can customize it with your own design needs – feel free to add holes or supports as needed.
With this file you will be able to print Wire Shelf Clips for tools, pens, etc with your 3D printer. Click on the button and save the file on your computer to work, edit or customize your design. You can also find more 3D designs for printers on Wire Shelf Clips for tools, pens, etc.
