Wire Shelf Additional Shelf Brackets

Here are brackets for adding additional shelves to Home Depot/Lowes type wire shelf systems that use 1" tubes. I needed to organize some equipment, but the Home Depot HDX 54 in. H x 36 in. W x 14 in. D 4-Tier Wire Shelving Unit just didn't have enough space. I had some plywood around that would make great shelves, so I drew up and printed these brackets. There are two styles available. The add a shelf bracket lets you add shelves to an existing unit without taking it apart. The build a shelf brackets let you add shelves to a unit when building it. The advantage of this one is that it only requires one bolt and the 'ears' do not extend past the footprint of the unit, requiring just one bolt. Both types use 1/4"-20 x .75" long bolts. The build a shelf ones are a little tight to put on, but slide down easily if you keep the ears separated slightly. I printed mine in standard PLA and it works perfectly fine.
