Update 8/2019: I've recently developed a fascination with wires, and I'm not apologizing for it - no kink shaming here. One wire at a time wasn't enough anymore, so I created an extension to keep up with my newfound enthusiasm. To support the added weight, I designed a clamp version that works seamlessly on top rows only. You won't need anything else beyond this clamp. As always, FreeCAD is attached for your editing pleasure - modify it as you see fit. Fed up with jumper wire spools cluttering my floor space, I swiftly came up with a clip to work in tandem with my wire shelf. So far, it's been working like a charm for lighter spool loads of jumper wire. I've uploaded the FreeCAD file so others can feel free to modify it if they wish - lazy as I am, no variables sheet was included, just two sketches with 100% constraints.
