Wire Mesh (Parametric)

This Solidworks 2015 wire mesh model is fully parametric, allowing you to easily adjust area, mesh pattern, and wire size using global parameters. I recently made updates on 06/26/16, adding an array member for the ends and uploading examples. Remember, enter the mesh size as needed, not necessarily as specified by the vendor. After cutting, who will know? To use Solidworks, check out the example parts and save the assembly as a part before using "Cut with surface" to shape it as desired. For Inventor users, export the file as step or iges and import it as a solid; the derive method should work, though I have not yet tried it myself. Be sure to break the link from the original part for best results.
