This device enables you to secure a plastic or metal wire in place. If live components are nearby, it's recommended to use an all-plastic design for maximum safety. The device can also be used effectively with metal wires. As depicted in the illustration, usage involves passing the wire through holes and rotating the device 1-2 times. For plastic applications, a thin 1.5 mm string trimmer line is ideal. To achieve a secure grip, perform two turns. When working with metal wire, copper is the preferred material, requiring only one turn for optimal grip. Always use this device in conjunction with an appropriate warning sign, as neither the device nor the wire is indestructible.
