wire holder - clamp
thingiverse
Hi! My wife asked for a clip or clamp to hold her phone charger cord, so I made one that fits multiple sizes of cords - from big earphone wires to tiny headphones cords. I designed the clamp with double-sided tape on the side, which you stick somewhere. Then, just slide the cord in and pull it into place until it's snug. The USB cord fit perfectly in the middle spot. This design can easily be scaled up or down by adjusting the X and Y dimensions - the Z dimension is fine as-is unless you're dealing with thick cables. If you like this idea, please let me know! I'd love to hear your thoughts. I made mine out of ABS because I worried that PLA might break under stress when pushing in wires. It might work for cords that don't get removed and reinserted often. Try it out and see how it goes! I've included the .123d file if you want to play around with it. If you modify and share it, be sure to give me credit.
