Wire Harness Clamp
thingiverse
I've worked on arcade and pinball machines where these wire harness clamps were used, and I found them to be incredibly straightforward and practical. However, when trying to source them from Amazon, I encountered a major issue: most of the available products are closed loops that don't allow for easy addition or removal of wires as needed. My first attempt at creating these clamps was overly robust. To improve their flexibility, I reduced the width and made them thinner by using cheaply extruded ABS. The result is a sturdy yet flexible design. These wire harness clamps are 3/4" wide with a mounting hole that fits a #8 screw. I designed three different sizes based on the inner diameter of the loop: 1/2", 3/4", and 1". The material thickness is a consistent 0.07". Originally, I intended to print these clamps in nylon for added flexibility, but so far, they've worked exceptionally well when printed in ABS.
