You're looking at a high-quality setup where motor wires are completely sealed off, providing an ideal space for LED mounting on a smooth, flat surface. I'm personally fond of the 1.2mm wall thickness model. While the 1mm version is slightly more flexible, it doesn't seem to make any significant difference in weight, at least not according to my measurements.
