Wire Fastener 2.0

In many people's productivity setups, laptop wires frequently dangle off the far edge of workbenches because outlets are typically located behind tables. When a wire is unplugged, it may fall back behind the table, forcing one to either stretch down or crawl underneath the table to retrieve it. This problem often occurs with long wires, as their extra weight pulls the end of the wire down more easily. Although this issue may only be an inconvenience, some individuals might occasionally bump their heads on the underside of tables while crawling underneath them to pick up wires, leading to headaches and, in rare cases, concussions. A major problem with using zip ties or traditional wire fasteners is that they are designed for single use. When a person has a single laptop charger, repeatedly plugging it out renders traditional wire fasteners ineffective and requires replacing the zip tie each time. The Wire Fastener 2.0 solves this issue because it comes apart in two pieces, allowing the wire to be removed while the main part of the fastener remains attached to the table. The Wire Fastener 2.0 is similar to a zip tie but attaches to tables with double-sided tape. Some tables have raised boards covering the back, so the Temporary Wire Fastener has a protrusion on the bottom that can stick to the side of the table's backboard. If the edge of the table is flat, this protrusion can be easily snapped off due to its small thickness.
