Wire end trap connector and mount

Instructions This DIY wire trap is designed specifically for large format printers that come with short wiring and lack sockets for the elements. I created this custom solution so I could easily make adjustments to the wiring without having to wrap all ends in shrink tubing. Before assembly, simply trim the wire leads to leave about 1.25 inches of excess. Next, solder the wires together, insert the completed wire assembly into the trap, and secure it using a zip tie to keep everything locked in place. As needed, you can use a tap to attach additional elements to the wire leads. The instructions mention printing this piece without any supports and with a moderate 30-50% fill setting in ABS plastic.
