Wire Dispenser Box V.1
cults3d
This is a 4-spindle 3D printed version of Adafruit's wire spool cases (https://www.adafruit.com/products/1311). Updates: On January 1st, 2017, holes for pulling out the wire were switched from "under" to "over," which makes it a lot easier to put the wire through if it goes back into the box. Adafruit's case is an awesome concept that can be made more durable and customized with 3D printing. This is version one, designed and printed in just one day. There are plenty of improvements that could be made so the SketchUp file is included for users to customize and build on this design. There is a spot for placing a piece of metal and a magnet to help keep the lid shut. It needs some improvement. The hinge uses a piece of 1.75mm filament pushed through, which can be glued or friction welded into place. This print required a little drilling to fit the filament in.
