Wire cutter guide
thingiverse
I've got an attachment for my wire cutter/stripper that lets me remove a consistent length of insulation from the end of wire when inserting it into a breadboard. I also added a measurement surface to help cut wires to the correct length, featuring 0.1" markings that match a standard breadboard layout. The grip portion consists of two lower walls, offset from the taller flat wall, which snaps onto the bottom of my wire cutter blade. The flat wall serves as a stopper for the wire, ensuring I always remove the same amount of insulation. You can use the Customizer to adjust the grip measurements to fit your specific wirecutter or desired insulation removal length. The measuring surface lines up with the cutting portion of the tool. For instance, if I need a wire that spans 4 holes on my breadboard, I need to cut it 10 "holes" long (4 pin span and 3 pin length on each end for insertion into the breadboard).
