Before assembling, I secured many of the primary joints on the storage cubes with zip ties. This may not be essential, depending on the weight of the contents in your cubes. The holes are 5mm in diameter and should accommodate any screws you might need to use. The edges have a 2.5mm chamfer for a flush fit with screw heads.
