This clip attaches itself to a shelf measuring 13mm or .5 inches wide and conceals/hides a cable. I utilize it to conceal unsightly cables from the router as they travel down the rear of an open cube shelf. Simply give the exposed end a gentle squeeze, which will open the wire compartment, grasp the wire, then slide it onto the shelf behind.
