Wire Clamp for 14 gauge Antenna Wire
thingiverse
Here's a wire clamp designed for my random-length end-fed vertical wire HF antenna. It's sized for 14-gauge and fits snugly - but it works perfectly as is. I paired it with 10-24 x 1/2-inch brass screws and 10-24 brass nuts to clamp PETG blocks on the wire. The nuts require a gentle tap with a small hammer, and they stay securely in place even when climbing a ladder or working on a roof to assemble. (I highly recommend assembling it on the ground first if your antenna is not already up - safety first!) The 1/2-inch screws are just long enough to grip the nuts tightly without protruding from the other side. This did make it slightly tricky to screw in, but everything fits as intended. Make sure the wires run smoothly through the grooves. It holds firmly in place with no slipping at all. Designed using Fusion 360, I've included an f3d file for your convenience. This project should be a breeze to create using Tinkercad or any other design tool if you'd like to design your own version.
