Wire Box can store and dispense wire with ease. To manage wire length, simply pull it out to your desired size and cut it as needed. For efficient storage, stack multiple boxes on top of each other. I've included two different box sizes - one for 1-1/2" OD spools and another for 2-1/4" OD spools - along with the necessary spools if you require them. To customize these boxes to suit your needs, I've provided the 123D Design files for modification. Simply access these files and make any necessary adjustments. Print Settings: Printer Brand: Printrbot Printer Model: Simple Black Rafts: No rafts are required. Supports: No supports needed. Resolution: Set the resolution to .2 mm for optimal results. Filament Used: I employed PLA filament in this project. Post-Printing: If you want your wire boxes to be stackable, look no further. I've included Box Bottoms that can be attached to the bottom of each box. These bottoms are smaller than the main box and fit snugly into the open top of a lower box. To secure them, apply glue directly to the center of the bottom. When assembling the spools, you'll notice they're printed in two separate parts. Simply glue these pieces together, taking care to ensure a tight fit. If necessary, use sandpaper or an exacto knife to scrape away any excess material and create a snug connection between the two halves. The result is a sturdy spool that's ready for use. To complete the assembly, attach the Box Bottom to the bottom of the box as previously described.
