WiRe AfRo (Wireless Remote-controlled Affordable Robot) chassis
thingiverse
This is the chassis for my low cost remote controlled vehicle, based on NodeMCU / ESP8266 and Arduino. It receives data strings via Wifi / TCP to control the motors' direction and speed. It was created to teach students and beginners in general about programming and electronics in an affordable approach and was build in a school and at Walter Reis Institute Obernburg so far. Currently there's only a German project description availbable at https://wiki.schaffenburg.org/Projekt:WiReAfRo You can find wiring diagram, bill of materials and Github links for the Arduino code, Android remote control app & remote control python script (for gamepads on PC / laptop) there. If I have time I'll publish an English guide, as well as a detailed build video. Enjoy. :)
