STRONGER, NEWER EDITION NOW AVAILABLE FOR DOWNLOAD AS OF 30.03.2019. I am working tirelessly to enhance its strength while minimizing vulnerabilities. Initial tests were conducted using Ninjatek Armadillo and Taulman Alloy 910, but both failed to meet expectations. Through simulations and four field failures, I have pinpointed the weak spots in my design. This latest iteration (28.04.18) is predicted by SolidWorks to withstand a 20kg horizontal static load on each pin simultaneously; however, this calculation is based on injection-moulded nylon66, not FDM printing. As evident from the design, I still require improvement in 3D modelling skills and have temporarily put this project on hold. To ensure optimal performance, please use a 2.5mm drill bit to create holes for the clip. This deliberate design choice allows for customization to suit your truck's specific needs and enhances overall strength. Insert the part into the shock tower, then drill the holes with the body mount in place for precise alignment.
