Winter Soldier Cosplay Rear Knife(s) & Sheath - Gerber Yari Tanto ii

This is a cosplay prop that I modeled from the Gerber Yari Tanto Knifes carried by Bucky Barnes (The Winter Soldier) on his back in the movie. He had two of these knives attached to the rear of his belt. The Knife prints as one single piece without any supports and finishes well. The Sheath prints as a main piece and lid, allowing you to print it without supports. Some minor filing may be necessary inside to ensure the knife fits well within the sheath. Once glued together (I used super glue), the sheath works as expected, with the knife sliding easily into place and being held securely when carried. To finish, I sanded the entire prop first, then applied a filler primer. Next, I painted it entirely black. I masked off the blade and other metal parts before painting the rest of the prop and the sheath with plasti-dip. For my Winter Soldier cosplay, I glued the knife inside the sheath to ensure there were no concerns at the con.
