I was seeking a solution to protect the boxes from winter's harsh elements, specifically the large openings that left them vulnerable to moisture and freezing temperatures. I conceived of these protective covers as a means to seal out snow and water, thereby preventing frost damage and ensuring the boxes remained dry and secure. The custom-fit design allows the caps to snugly fit into place, providing a watertight seal that shields the interior from external influences. To add extra stability, I reinforced the structure to prevent any potential movement or shifting due to weather conditions.
