The stock extruder spacer that came with the PrinterMod direct drive plate fell short of expectations, lacking both height and suitable shape to accommodate the Winsinn Dual Gear extruder seamlessly. To simplify things, I merged the spacers for the extruder and hot end into a single model, streamlining the process. All that's required in addition are longer extruder mount screws - M3 x 35mm proved to be an ideal choice and worked perfectly. The spacers included in the DD kit for both the extruder and hot end go unused. Printing with PLA at 40% infill has yielded a solid performance over the past week, demonstrating reliability and consistency.
