I designed angles for planed 44 - 45 mm beams in FreeCAD, carefully crafting each angle to ensure a precise fit. The angles themselves have an edge dimension of 38 x 48 x 48 mm, a deliberate choice made to accommodate the standard 45° bevel on most beams. This thoughtful design consideration ensures a seamless integration with existing structures. These versatile angles come in three distinct styles: square, pointed, and angled, catering to diverse needs and preferences. To achieve optimal load capacity, I recommend printing angle 3 lying on its side using a 0.4mm nozzle and six perimeters (outer lines). This strategic approach ensures maximum stability and durability. The screw holes are designed for 3 to 4 mm countersunk screws, providing a secure fastening system for various applications. Version 3b boasts additional support elements compared to version 3a, significantly enhancing the angle's resilience and overall performance. While a solid steel angle may offer superior load capacity, it is often unnecessary. The small angles should not be underestimated; they possess surprising strength and versatility. I would be thrilled to receive a small donation or a picture of your print, and I invite you to explore my other designs on Thingiverse.
