Wink Connect 3G Tablet Bumper

This is a protective bumper for the Wink Connect 3G 7" Tablet. My kids managed to break three tablets before I finally decided to invest in some serious protection. Unfortunately, this corner bumper has not been drop-tested yet, so I cannot guarantee that it will work effectively, but hopefully it should still be better than nothing. UPDATE: After some further research, I also discovered that the same corner bumper fits perfectly on the Alcatel One Touch Pixi 3 (7) tablet and possibly other similar tablets of its size as well. Although the fit might not be absolutely perfect, it's certainly good enough for me. To print this design, I opted for nylon due to its superior durability and impact resistance. As an added benefit, nylon also offers a fair amount of flexibility which simplifies the mounting process significantly. Print Settings: * Printer: Flashforge Dreamer * Rafts: No support structures are required. * Supports: Yes, but use caution when removing these to avoid damaging the corner bumper's design. * Resolution: A minimum resolution of 0.125 is necessary to achieve a crisp and clear finish. * Infill: Set the infill to between 30-50% to achieve an optimal balance between structural integrity and material usage. Important Notes: * The bottom layer is designed to be 1mm thick, which required using 4 layers both top and bottom to make it sturdy enough. However, this also necessitated some adjustments to ensure a smooth and continuous printing process. * To successfully remove support structures from the corners and outside edges, use your slicer's settings to disable these channels if possible. Post-Printing Instructions: 1. Carefully remove any remaining support structures or excess filament using proper cleaning techniques. 2. Next, check for and remove any strings, burrs, or defects in the corner bumper design.
