Winged Zen Elephant
thingiverse
Taking flight - the Zen Elephant soars with agile owl wings perfectly suited for lifting heavy loads. To the curious: My print photos showcase rough outlines, a testament to rapid printing with an untuned printer on a shaky table, resulting in wavering lines. I recommend slower printing for a stunning visual display. Use Suggestion: This model may look fantastic when scaled down and used as the base for crafting or casting unique jewelry pendants, or printed in metal for a striking finish. Warning: Be aware of your surroundings if you spot a Winged Zen Elephant flying overhead - do not gaze upward! Instructions Print with support to maintain structural integrity for the wings. Base Option: The base is designed for effortless removal, and it can be retained or detached from the elephant's feet and trunk. Display or play options include Standing or Hanging with or without the base. How this was Created: I discovered the Zen Elephant model and shared it with a friend's wife, who exclaimed, "It's nice!" then inquired, "Can you print one with wings?" This sparked my creativity, and I thought of an Eagle wing style but deemed it impractical for a large round elephant. An owl caught my attention - round, heavy, just like an elephant - and its short, heavily-loaded-shaped wings inspired the creation of a Fantasy Animal. I envisioned the mighty Zen Elephant effortlessly lifted by agile owl wings. This model is dedicated to Mrs. Kristen Haskell of Springfield, MO
