Winged Quetzalcoatl
cults3d
This is an articulated print-in-place figure designed in the style of the ever popular articulated dragons. Made to fit on the bed of a MK3s or Ender 3 without scaling. I was inspired by the Feathered Serpent of Mesoamerican myth (known as the Quetzalcoatl to the Aztecs or Kulkulk'an to the Mayans). I wanted to make something less realistic and more like an awakened stone statue, hence the somewhat blocky shapes. This version of my design includes great stone wings for this flying serpent. See my other design for the version without wings. I've included 2 versions here with different clearances on the wings: v1 has clearances of 0.15mm and v2 has much looser clearances. Hope you enjoy this model. Happy printing!
